Eligibility
If you have taken any college level courses, you are required to apply as a transfer applicant:
- Test scores are required if English is not your first language so that we may assess your English proficiency. They can accept any one of the following test score results: TOEFL (a minimum TOEFL of 500/173 for the paper based test, or a minimum internet based test score of 61 is required for admission), IELTS or ACT. (They are looking for a 500 on each section of the SAT and a composite of 21 on the ACT, with strong verbal scores – English and Critical Reading).
If you have graduated from secondary school and have taken any college courses, you are considered a transfer student and are required to apply under this category:
- An official copy of your college transcript. A WES course-by-course evaluation, certification, and translation of the transcript is also required if you are transferring from a college outside the United States. For Fall (September 2012) entry, WES materials must be received by August 1. For Spring (January 2012) entry, WES materials must be received by January 1.

- Teacher or College Counselor Recommendation. The person who writes this recommendation should have a strong sense of your academic abilities.
- Essay: Your one-page essay may be written on a topic of your choice, or may also be a graded paper from a class with professor notes included.

- A Dean`s Letter of Recommendation.
Scholarship
Dates and Deadlines 2011-2012:
- Early Action applications: December 1, 2011
- Regular Decision applications: April 1, 2012
- Enrollment Deposit deadline: May 1, 2012
In their first two years, their students choose from an intriguing and stimulating selection of interdisciplinary courses called Pathways rather than enroll in a host of core requirements. If you choose to submit a paper copy of the Common Application, you will be required to pay the $45 application fee.
How to apply?
Application Requirements:
- Application and fee: The $45 application fee is waived if you apply online. Simply check off “transfer” on the application. They do not have a separate application for transfers.
- Essay/letter of intent: You can choose one of our essay topics or write about a topic of your choice. Some transfer students may find it appropriate to write about their transfer quest.
- Dean`s Recommendation Form: This form can also be faxed to us at (603)526-3452.
- College Transcripts w/ course descriptions: They will need an official college transcript with a seal or signature on it. Course descriptions can include a course syllabi or course catalogue for courses taken.
- High School Transcripts or GED record: Must be official copies.
- One other recommendation: This can be from a professor or an employer. If relevant, a high school teacher may also submit a recommendation on a student`s behalf.
- SAT or ACT Scores (optional): You may choose to submit your standardized test scores if you feel they will strengthen your application, but they are not required.
